  • Just keep in mind that this is a volunteer-based competition with no incentive. So, while we do the best we can, I cannot guarantee that all guidelines will be met. I will post Aniolel's scores on Tu

  • I can help with judging, Morivou!

Cool! Count me in too (as a competitor)!

I have a few ideas count me in as a competitor as well. :hmmm:

I can see there are still people signing up - but I've already posted my entry for this Competition: Quiet Thoughts, Op. 30. Don't expect too much of it, though  ...

Good luck to all the fellow contestants!

Hey everyone! I'm new to the website and would love to give this competition a try... I had a few questions:

1. does the piece have to be with only classical instruments or can there be electronic sounds mixed in?

2. do i have to provide the actual score (sheet music)?

  • Author

1. Electro sounds are always fine unless noted otherwise.

2. As much as you can. Electronic stuff need not be included if necessary.

Another question...

Can a piece be withdrawn once submitted? (Just asking)!

  • Author

Yes, but if it's still uploaded, it will still be judged.

To clarify: I'm not withdrawing my submission  .

Can you specify that only a certain section be judged? I have a good piece, but I sort of drifted away from meditation at a point. :whistling:

-sigh- hahaha.

I'm not gonna be able to participate, as I won't have any internet connection until the 7th of May :(((

  • Author

I hate it when that happens! Oh well. Please try again soon!

I'd like to enter this contest as well

Note the due dates.

Interesting theme! I just saw it and I may choose to participate. Where do we post the pieces?

  • Author

Here or in a PM to me.

I would like to participate. I am late and only have a few days to come up with something, but I would like to try.

Go for it.

I posted my entry for this competition:http://www.youngcomposers.com/music/2177/air-in-d-major/

So far there are already posted works by JSands, Ink, OrchDork, Luderart and myself - and the due date is still four days away.

Still no word from additional judges?

Here's my entry: http://www.youngcomposers.com/music/2189/celestial-meditation/

Wow. I'm really happy there are entries... but... we need judges!!! Any takers?

Perhaps judges should be assigned or perhaps nominated, rather than being allowed to nominate themselves!
