treehugger1995
This is the best theme yet, count me in! Zelda time!!!
theviolinist7
For being a judge, I should probably know what the Zelda theme sounds like....I'm not a video game nerd. Can someone send me a youtube link?
Morivou
Don't worry. All submissions will have a link to the original work.
Chopstix
So, just to confirm the submission: Do you want us to upload it to the "Game and Film Music" category and say it's part of the contest?

Tokkemon
So, just to be clear. Should this be a Mozartian Theme and Variations where each variation is obvious and separate, or can it be a later-style Fantasy-type thing? That would be easier to write I would think because a lot of these melodies don't lend themselves well to objective variation themselves but rather to their treatment. Chopstix
Yes, I was wondering that as well. Even though I've already written the entire arrangement.... :veryunsure:
Robbie Parker
im moving in a week and im packing everyday on top of going to work i have no time for this :(
Kvothe
That is a wonderful question to answer. Here is my unoffical answer: I will say both since the rules does not clarify which one we want.
theviolinist7
Just a notice. PLEASE MARK WHERE THE VARIATIONS START! IT WILL MAKE THINGS MUCH CLEARER FOR THE JUDGES! I WILL MARK DOWN ON SCORE CLARITY IF YOU DO NOT! Same goes with interludes.
Tokkemon
I still have had no answer. Is this a fantasy or strict theme and variations. If it is the latter this is going to get very difficult for me, esp given the time constraints.
treehugger1995
yeah, I don't think I can make it, finale just randomly deleted a viola concerto I was almost done with, so I have to start over....
ad hoc
I have to withdraw my offer to judge. I'll be on vacation the entire judging period.

Kvothe
@Tokke: I already answer this question: That is a wonderful question to answer. Here is my unoffical answer: I will say both since the rules does not clarify which one you want. To reirrate: it does not matter which one you use. Both would be a type of variations
Morivou
Hey all! I apologize! I have been barred from the internet for a week because of my computer harddrive failing. SO: here's what I am going to do. NOBODY is dropping out. We are just going to extend the competition to TWO months, since I was gone. I'm very interested in seeing this through with better participation. And, this is also a hard month for students starting school. So! That's what we'll do. BY THE WAY: the october competition is already in the works and the details are being ironed out. So, be ready to participate in that as well. :) -Connor.
