Tokkemon Posted August 15, 2012 Share Posted August 15, 2012 After last year's success with "Remembrance" (see also on YC here) as part of the New York Chamber Music Festival's 9/11 Memorial concert, festival organizer and violinist Elmira Darvarova has asked me to write a piece for her for this year's festival. This work, entitled "A Reflection" will be premiered by Elmira on violin with her accompanist on September 8, 2012 at 5pm at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Symphony Space. Several other world premieres will be presented in a variety of genres, "From Bach to Blues". This is a FREE concert. If you're in the area and want to hear some fantastic new music by a great eclectic group of musicians come out and show your support!
