How Do You Get The Large Expression Bracket In Sibelius?

Featured Replies

It looks like a horizontal line above the text and then it curves around it on either side. Sort of thing you'd use for "cup mute" etc.

Thanks!

If you write expressive, beautiful music, Sibelius just picks its favourite passages and drops expression lines on them.
In my case, the software gets too enthusiastic with the markings and I end up having to manually delete some.

See on the clarinets stave it says 'solo' at the beginning?

Many thanks!

Couldn't find it :( but if you can open that score just select the text object and in Text Tab it will tell you which style it is, it might be a custom style.

I don't seem to have that font, but you can get a similar result by using Reprise Rehearsal font. Surround the text with [ ]
