July 21, 20169 yr The opening is awesome, sounds like early Schönberg or Richard Strauss. But, sadly, there is no significant development of musical material and everything remains too much the same all time. At 3:14 there should have been something different, such as polyphonic use of melodic lines, different atmosphere, activity... Anything would make music more exciting. Try it! I suggest you listen to Metamorphoses by Richard Strauss.
