Nine Short Romances

Featured Replies

Hi! This is my recent instrumental album :"Nine Short Romances", Tha main instrument here is the piano, but I used some other instruments as well.

Wonderful! I love this kind of composition. Songs or romances, whatever. With or without some other instrument.
I like all the tracks. Perhaps it's a bit wird that, apart from the piano, the instruments change: strings soloists, piano solo, string ensemble, ¿elctric guitar?, cello... I mean, for an album where the piano is the main instrument, we are accostumed to listen to it alone. Or, if there is orchestration, it is more or less the same in the whole album.

I general, the mood is nostalgic, passionate, sometimes sad... Very romantic. Your language is tonal all the time, it goes well with the style. Of course, I don't disregard classic (or romantic) tonality, but I am also very fond of others idioms.

It would be nice, a plus, to see the scores, since some of us learn a lot from others.

In summary, excellent work.
