They either weren't attached to a beat or neglected to show that there was any sort of time change. Music from this region can sometimes stay around the tonic, but not always this long. Not necessarily a complaint, since you carry it well, but it's kind of inauthentic that way. More instruments from the region could also be added to make it sound more authentic.
