Monarcheon
Organ pedal in the first D minor section clashes with a lot of notes in the rest of the ensemble. Your timpani sound is, I feel, unnecessarily huge. It seems like your idea of development here is either going to a parallel key or making a relatively stark cutoff instead of investing time in the previous section, which is a lot more fluid than what's here. Your orchestration sounds okay but would benefit from more sounds in the high soprano and low bass. Your alto and tenor sound wonderful but it should be expanded upon more. This just feels like it could sing out and flow so much more! Merry Christmas!
