I know what piece inspired this, but I can't remember the name. I've heard it a million times but can't put my finger on it...Oh well.

Well, for your second time writing a piece I'd say it is a well done second attempt, though if you were trying to emulate the original, you would need to speed up the tempo and add more notes using your right hand.

But I think it sounds good, I can't give much orchestration advice...but I can tell you that the sound quality was good and clear.

@LostSamurai The piece you're looking for is Beethoven's "Für Elise." It's a lovely piece and I definitely hear the similarities.
There's just a bunch of little irregularities to clear up. Such as:

  • The first repeat you have goes to a pickup phrase which really jostles the phrase structure. Maybe put it after the first measure and make the pickup in the repeat bar.
  • mm. 5, 21: Why the 16th note?
  • m. 18: No 3rd in your chord, especially when that would be period specific to Beethoven.
  • m. 11: octave leap in soprano, making the octave chord a little not worth it.

It's a bit too similar maybe, but I see what you're going for in changing it up. It's a good compositional exercise, to say the least.
