Great work! It all has a certain eastern or ancient feel to me. From what I've heard it seems like your orchestral music has a very cinematic style. I hope your performance goes well!

Can you explain the meaning of the title? Hilariously, I tried googling it but a made a spelling error and was led to a whole lot of links for what I'll politely call erotic art.

I enjoyed it, especially the faster middle section. Fishfry is right; it's very cinematic and epic in style, and I also hear the Eastern vibe FF is talking about.

The entry of the bongos/congas was surprising at first, but I liked it, and I was pleased to hear them again in the coda.

I thought the cadenza felt a little out of place. It was fine, but it seemed like such a sudden departure from the straightforward, cinematic style of the rest of the piece.

I'd love to see the score!

PS - I'm also curious about the title.

PSS - Nice touch with the video/text.

Thank you both!
The name... it doesn't really mean anything, and that's kind of the point. It's intended to be more of an audio response to the word rather than a semantic one in its pronunciation.

I thought about this right after I sent it to the copyright office :facepalm:I'll probably end up revising it in a future version once I get the certification back.

Thanks again!

Very nice indeed!  I too am hearing an Eastern flavour, and a cinematic style.  Love the lush orchestration.  The faster section is nothing if not exciting!  Then followed by the slower, dramatic section - very effective.  I didn't find the cadenza out of place, but the character and harmonic language of it was so much different than what went before that it felt somewhat inconsistent, but that would be my only quibble.  Congratulations on a great piece!

Thank you! I'm really happy with how it turned out. I have the Meyer Violin Concerto in the Works Apprecation forum here, and it was a huge inspiration for the fast part of this piece. I've started rehearsing it with the orchestra and it's sounding really good too. Our soloist is a little shy though so hopefully we can keep the energy going.  Thanks again--
