Hello!

I am Ice Storm, or at least that's what I go by on forums. I've actually been looking for a while for a good, active musician forum that I can share and give feedback on new music with, and I am hoping that this is the place that I settle into. I've done a little bit of snooping around and the site looks pretty well active, so here's to hopefully a long tenure.

A bit more about me, I am a self-taught musician on most of the instruments that I play, and classically trained in composition. I've been through a good bit of theory, and while I don't remember a lot of the technical names for chords and inversions anymore, I know the sounds and how to write with them. I write a bit of everything; from contemporary, to classical, to metal. At the moment, a lot of my finished works are Orchestral, or sectionals by nature.

When I'm actually writing music via notation, my preferred software is Sibelius, though when I'm doing live recordings with my keyboard or my guitars for my electrical/heavier stuff, I use Mixcraft7 and Line6 Pod Studio farm. I also master all of my orchestral tracks written from Sibelius in Mixcraft as well.

Outside of music, I do a lot of roleplaying, and play a decent amount of video games, and as many will see from my profile, I am also a brony, but I don't delve from the dark-side of the fandom and don't really do much with the show anymore. I just roleplay.

I think that about covers everything... though I feel like I'm forgetting a lot. My intros are usually much longer than this.
