Hi all. This is a little neoclassical sort of thing I wrote last night instead of studying. My exam didn't go so well, but at least I've finished a piece. Hope you enjoy it!

I hope that exam wasn't that important.

I tend to do that too actually, not because I'm irresponsible, but because I don't want to move my mind to something else and then forget my ideas.

Ok, maybe I am irresponsible, but just a bit XD

About your composition- I think it has a nice overall sound, was a bit boring to me but maybe you meant to create something calm without many changes.

The only note I have for you is that some oboe's passages might be a bit too long.

From what I heard, it's a very difficult instrument, and forcing someone to play a long melody might leave him without air.

I might be wrong, I don't play and wind instrument and, from what I read, you're a french horn (!) player so you probably considered that.

btw, that's a lot to write in one day, I wonder how you did that.

It's pretty. The things that were immediately noticeable to me was the counterpoint in the first section and the voice leading in the original melody. Both are awkward compared to the tone of the rest of the piece.
