I recommend his courses especially to those starting out on their composing journey. Audio Foundations - (On Lynda.com) The technical know-how of a DAW is just as important as composing itself. This 5-part series is definitely worth the time-investment. Game Music Composition: Make Music For Games From Scratch - www.udemy.com/gamemusiccourse/ Guides you through the steps on making game-specific music. A heck of a lot of content for the price.
July 30, 20187 yr http://www.filmmusicinstitute.com/fmi2110-2120.html I took this 6 years ago when there was not much out there, so I don't know how it compares to the newer stuff, but you get to hear Steven Smalley talk about his approach to orchestration and you get a ton of scores and sketches that you really have the responsibility to dig into yourself!
