Allegro assai for violin solo

This is my first attempt to write a piece for unaccompanied violin. I'll try to make a recording in nearest future

A nice study into the crafting of continuous motion in music and shaping contours for a voice. Writing for solo instruments I think is fairly difficult; and, while you chose to write the contour of your lines in a way that really works -- especially in terms of the different key areas to which you transition -- and you build a fair amount of drama because this, I think a little more variance in texture could create more contrast and diversity. Either way, a nice piece, and I'd love to hear it with a real person playing it.
