The compositional technique stems from fugal compositional ideas combined with the chromatic style of the late romantic to expressionist era. The sheet music is visual in the video. January 1, 20206 yr Very beautiful. The changes of textures (thicker, lighter) make good but soft contrast.
January 2, 20206 yr Two voice counterpoint is weak, especially after the fff. Sounds uncharacteristically basic in comparison to the other harmonies in play.
