July 21, 20205 yr This certainly seems to use proper voice leading. Not sure if the implied F dominant 9 chord in measure 4 beat 4 was in common practice back then but it certainly works now! Also, I just noticed that you have some parallel 4ths in the top two voices in measure 6 beat 2 but it didn't bother me when I was listening. I guess it all comes down to what you're trying to do when you compose like this: learn a particular set of rules or break them?
