Steelpan! Some of the harmonic language is very intriguingly non-synchronous; that is to say, harmonic and melodic collections can sound different on a whim, which is cool. I might have hoped for a bit more contrast in energy level to not have everything sound as straight. Like Luis said, it can feel that way with the treatment of the motive.
