March 6, 20224 yr Author Dear @Simen-N, I profoundly appreciate your criticism about the fugal subject, although unfortunately the alleged issue with harmonic rhythm was intentional. I became fond of the dissonances produced in the 3rd and 4th entries by the original subject and decided to go along with them. Thank you very much, however, for taking the time to compose your own version upon a similar, more rhythmically sensical subject. Right after listening to it I was surprised that you didn't point out the thorough absence of subject mutations to the major relative in my fugue, which is a problem I never get around solving in my compositions. March 6, 20224 yr is this tuned to the pitch standard that they would have used in the baroque era? if so nice touch

So, not really a far cry from Baroque standards like 415 Hz or 465 Hz but still fairly close to 440 Hz, though nowhere nearly as irritating to the ear methinks.
