2 poèmes: No. 2, Allegro con fuoco, apassionato

Recommended Posts

Hi @ClaudioCamacho,

I am looking foward to this and finally you finish this!

That's a great miniature piece well suited as prelude. Very idiomatic piano writing and to the late romantic style with that breadth, texture and harmony. Nice job! I guess it's played by yourself? The rubato is really great and the pacing is perfect.

You can use A# for the B flat in b.8 to prevent that frequent change of accidental.

I have just think of a piano concerto by @Camfrtt since his work is inspired by Rachmaninoff:

You can check these out if you are interested!

Thanks for sharing!

Hello @Henry Ng Tsz Kiu,

As you said, this work could be a prelude. As always, I really appreciate your comment and criticism! The reason for the B flat is the harmony, is a note from the chord A7b9 whose ninth is B flat.

By the way, Camille's pieces are very interesting, thanks for sharing his music!

Hi, Claudio Camacho!

I just listened to both of your musical poems, and I must say that I am truly impressed by your works. Brilliant use of chromaticism here and there - and the tension buildup is well conveyed with notes from the chromatic scale. Superb work!

I will be looking forward to hearing your new compositions!

Hi, yes amazing piece. I like the development and language. Perhaps (this is a matter of personal taste) the timbre of the piano is a bit "sharp".

Hey @Luis Hernández,

First, thank you so much for your words.

That's an interesting point that I hadn't considered, because I composed this in a very intuitive way. Moreover, the tonality can also depend a bit on the previous piece so it's a hard and risky decision. But is good to know.
