Symphonische Kantate for Solosoprano, Choir and Orchestra

Y'know, it takes me a lot to be awed by a piece of music. It usually has to strike me in the heart, give me chills, or even make me cry before I can say that I love it. I've been a big Andrew Lloyd Webber junky since I first got into music, and I still critisize some of the things he writes.

This took me by storm, and I've only listened to the first movement!

I'm stunned!

... but then again, I can say, and it's not a bad thing, but the feel that the strings give the piece is to constant. I feel that they are playing too much at the beginning, and that the sound is repetitive.

Of course this doesn't effect how I feel for the piece. Great job, and keep these coming!!

I am humbled. and what a performance, it makes me feel great that a composer such as yourself has such a wonderful recording. This music lifted me into another world.
