epii
Here's a pop tune I composed using the Sonar 8.5 piano roll (that's how I make all my stuff). It's inspired by the 1970's era of pop songs. I have 2 different endings which I'd like others opinion on as to which is better. I've posted both versions here; "where to begin" and "where to begin-v2". I'm leaning toward the "where to begin" ending (albeit maybe a bit over-the-top) as opposed to the other one which seems kind of boring. What do you think? Just type a 1 for "where to begin" or a 2 for "where to begin-v2". And of course any comments you might have too. Enjoy. -Rick MP3 Play / pause JavaScript is required. 0:00 0:00 volume > next menu where to begin where to begin-v2 > next

Haha I think the difference between the two endings are not really big! 1 will be more quietly ended and 2 more excited but both are good endings for me! Again this is a very enjoyable listening and thanks for sharing! Henry
epii
Henry, Thanks for your input. I think I'm liking the more "excited" ending better now. I keep going back and forth. I don't particularly like either of them. Maybe I should just re-work the ending from scratch. Listening to myself talking about my music that nobody will ever even hear makes me feel like a self centered idiot. I guess I am. 🙂 Thanks again. -Rick

Haha who isn't a self-centered one (though absolutely not an idiot) considering composing? If I am not self-centered I won't even compose to express myself through creating music! Also who doesn't like others to listen to their own music and share own thoughts on them? I am certainly not an exception for that! This is for sure a legitimate thought.
