This work for SATB, piano, and optional vibraphone celebrates the majesty of the night sky and the wonders of the universe. It is a testament to the power of music to inspire awe and wonder, and to bring us closer to the mysteries of the cosmos. The title translates to "Space and Time," which reflects the main themes of the composition.

The Latin lyrics are:

In immensitate spatii et temporis,
Vita nostra est sublimis,
Universum nobis monstrat,
Et sapientiae reserat.
In immensitate spatii et temporis,
Vita nostra est sublimis.

An English translation is:

In the vastness of space and time,
Our existence is sublime,
The universe shows itself to us,
And reveals wisdom.
In the vastness of space and time,
Our existence is sublime.

This is lovely and relaxing!  I'd be cautious about splitting the tenor part, particularly when the sopranos don't divide at the same time.  Often the tenors are the smallest section in a choir and the sopranos are the largest, so you are likely to have 5 tenors on each part trying to balance against 18 sopranos singing in unison. Bar 39 presents the extra difficulty that the sopranos are at the top of their range, and will need to sing a little louder there, to get a vocally healthy and supported tone, no matter what dynamic it is marked, while the 2nd tenors will be at the bottom of their range where their sound is not as resonant.  Since you have plenty of notes doubled in other parts, you might want to do a bit of thinning. 🙂

Extra points for a tidy score!
