September 15, 20232 yr Hi everyone, I am trying to set up work flow that intergrades a DAW and score editor software that can use VST plug ins. I am familiar finale, but I am sort familiar with sibeluis. Ergo, I want to a learning curve to make it easier for me. But I am not oppose to new things. What would you recommend?

There is no real great option for what you want, I'm afraid. This is a question that's been going around 20 years and still no proper hybrid exists. I don't know if Musescore 4 or Finale or any of the other programs allow themselves to be loaded as a VST in a DAW (they didn't last I was aware), but that would be as good as it could get. Musescore now allows for better sounds, but they still don't hold a candle to what can be done with Kontakt and the like in a DAW. Some DAWs like Reaper or Cubase have rudimentary sheet music software, but I do mean "rudimentary". Some notation software, again I believe musescore, can now load VST instruments, but it is not nearly as efficient to use them as it is in a DAW
September 16, 20232 yr Author Thank you for reply. I have heard that you can import and export midi notation and daw to each other. So that is probably my best shot. 🙂 I hope one day there will be company that offers program that introduces, at affordable price, a program that intrages all of this.
