Nice spooky atmosphere just in time for Halloween!  My only complaint with this piece is that you seldom have choice uses of space and changes in texture such as having only high or low instruments playing at certain portions of the piece.  That is something that @Thatguy v2.0 brought to my attention in many of my own pieces, where I am often too preoccupied with filling up all the instrument parts with music and I miss the opportunity to have some much needed breathing room/space/change in texture.  I feel like you could have really created a much more delicate moment in the music if you let all the instruments drop out at one point and have only 1 or two remain or something like that.  Those are my thoughts.  Thanks for sharing this spooky piece!

P.S.:  Did you also happen to use the same VST as @AngelCityOutlaw for that theremin-like sine-wave-ish sound? Spooky Keys?

I like it, very Scooby-Doo.

I would say my only critiques is that there could be a bit more action and variation to the accompaniment, but of course it is tricky to balance movement with atmosphere in pieces like these. The only other thing is that I would say the sequencing of the strings and brass could be improved, particularly in the dynamics. But I suppose it depends on what the samples you are using allow for.

Thank you for your advice! Maybe I should have used fewer instruments somewhere in the music piece, but this is a two-minute long piece, and I had to tell a 'story' during this period, so I decided to use all of my ideas and "denser" instrumentation in the track.

Hi @olivercomposer,

This is real spooky with that sound effect at the beginning. For me I think it's fine to maintain the dense instrumentation since for me this track is more atmospheric and trailer like, rather than narrative. But maybe having a single bell or celesta, or a spooky Aah female voice at the end can scare more people out haha.

Thanks for the comment! There's a celesta and also a tubular bell in this piece. 🙂 The aaah voice is unfortunately missing...
