Glock and Horns

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

My name is Andrew Sigler and I'm new to the Forum, though I've been a regular at the EWQL site. This piece is the first of three movements dealing with different elements of rhythm. Any comments/criticisms are welcome!

I've been asked to upload a score for 'Glock and Horns'

This is a very early draft generated (with some alterations) from the midi file that was dumped into Sibelius. Because of this, you will see multiple staves for instruments that would otherwise have one, like the Horn and the Crotales. This is because in the sequencer, I needed two channels (or more) for each. Additionally, I've not completed editing on this score, so you can use it as a guide if you like.

well, it's an awesome weird. this is very entertaining, but it's weird? you know?

I really love the way the woodwind and string parts fit together. I imagine this would be absolutely amazing to see performed...

I'd like to see the other movements, because this one is so entertaining. Well done!

I think it would be cool live too...

I'll post the other movements over the next few weeks.

Andy,

Looing forward to the rest of the movmenets (especialyl the scores. ya know... ;))

This track is indeed maazingly done and not onyl the composition or the orchestration, but the rendering itself. I have decided that there is some kind of art to making your compositions come to life with a meer computer on your side, and you have mastered that art!

It is brilliant, and you know I think of it this way ;)

Do let us know if you do send it to competitions and stuff! And good luck!

Fantastic work. I'm referring not just to this piece, which was well done and entertaining to listen to, but also your other movements and the other things I listened to on your SoundClick page.

Truly impressive musicianship and impressive production on the tracks as well - you make good use of EWQL (I can't wait to get it...dammit...:w00t:).

Anywho, well done and thanks a lot for sharing, you're a talented fellow! :D

Seems like my absence has brought some new faces and especially new music to the forum. I'm just glad to see this happen. Well, welcome to the forum siguitar! I wellcome your presence and your music !
