Minuet (Neoclassical style)

Luis Hernández
in Orchestral and Large Ensemble

Featured Replies

Hello

A few weeks ago, I was discussing the characteristic features of the 20th-century neoclassical style.

I wrote a short minuet incorporating these features.

A playful style, based on the 18th-century minuet dance, with broken accents, clean lines, bitonality, unexpected modulations...

    Hello @Luis Hernández,
This is a playful and nice piece.
To me, it sounds like a kitten is walking around and discovering new things with joyful feelings.
It will be nice if this piece is played in the background of such a situation.
    Thank you for sharing!

    Best,

    Lithl.
