  2. Thank you! Means a alot to hear it from you guys. :) You have to understand, I made this music from pure love of genre film music. So if I hit the mark or not is not up to me to decide. I'm proud of the fact that I managed to get through it, with limited knowledge of music theory, but I always took compliments with a grain of salt. But knowing you guys liked it means alot! :)

  3. Thanks for listening guys! It was never my intention to lower any expectations. I AM a first time composer, and I'm not all that confident about it. I'm studying film at university, but I decided to compose an album for my bachelor, at the behest of my professor. I spent a few months on this, and it wasn't easy, but I managed to pull through. I was completely honest in my modesty, so there's no need to call out an ulterior agenda. I'm just a huge fan of film music who needed to get my built-up inspiriation expressed in some way. That being said, I really appreciate you guys checking it out. And I apologize if I let out a "douchy" first impression.

  4. Hi I like the way it is.... Something like an "electronic thapsody". The sounds you get are amazing.... I am used to write for piano or other "acoustic" instruments. So, this stuff would be very difficult for me. I also think that the changes keep my attention and it's not boring, at all. It would be different if this music was intended to go with images, a film or whatever. In that case you should rewrite some parts to adjust them.

  5. This is very nice! It's always great to see the viola getting some cool repertoire. I love the viola. It's been under-represented in the past, imho. I liked the fourth one even better! It's a bit of a different style for me, but very nice regardless. Would be cool to hear a soloist perform this.

  6. Very nice. I think you've been clever using the double stops here. Your ideas for the soliloquies are wonderful. They are as little gems. I wonder if you have thoug about expand and develop some of them (with some orher instrument? Anywat, they are good.

  7. There are many good things in this, but I personally think there is too many sudden changes within this piece. I can´t accuse this piece of being too repetitious. Instead it seems to be the other way around. But maybe that is part of the experimentation.

  8. The ending definately had a Stravinsky feel to it. Was "The Fire bird" a major influence?

  9. Totally enjoyable! The melody is a great vehicle for the orchestration and development you created. I'm not familiar with "Emma", but the piece had a story telling feel to it.
