  3. yeah man!!
  4. How do I turn sibelius files into pdf?
  5. wow, total rejection! ok, ...I take it. - cutting wrist in the background -
  6. Hi, I just wrote this piece, it's not completly finished yet, but this is pretty much how it's gonna sound like. It sounds simple, but it is kinda of tough to play. Please comment (they really help!) thanks
  7. I've put small rests though, otherwise even the MIDI player would've passed out by the thrid page. But I guess it's not enough(?) I dont know I don't play the flute... ok. I'll think about that. :)
  8. I hear Ravel ! (with more swing, whatever you call it)- it's good.
  9. So, after taking a couple of suggestions this is how it turned out. (the piece is still a little all over the place but, it's supposed to be a transformation from beginning to end). For some reason, Sibelius didn't wanna cooperate so I didin't upload the score. thanks
  10. oh thanks... parellel 5ths!!?? Wholy cow... I could've sworn there were no parallel 5ths. God damn Baroque rules!! lol
  11. yeah, I have auditions coming up... Just focus on polishing the pieces you're gonna play. To try listen for passages where your technique seems unatural or uncomfortable and work these passages. (You're really gonna have to become a piano freak... I mean all your life is gonna have to revolve around practicing.... and reduced bathroom and eating time lol) Work on technique (related to your repertoire) during the day and work out notes at night. My teacher told me this, and it helps because you consolidate the information you learned just before your sleep. It sounds weird but that's what I did to memorize the Prokofiev tocatta... all that chromatic thirds scraggy... And have a mirror next to your piano, look for weird motions and eliminate them. If you use your brain, you can have an awesome technique without the years it takes most people.
  12. Really, thank you so much for the comments, I'll fix these things... :)
  13. I think this version is better.
  14. I just realized the flute is too loud... crap
  15. Hi, I just composed this small kinda through-composed piece (but i'm still working on it). PLease let me know if the flute part is playable, since i'm not a flutist i can really tell. This piece has a "medieval with twist" first theme, then it gets weird. LOL. It's very uh... my style. PLease comment!! thanks guys.
  16. how old are you? and how long do you have to prepare until the auditions? (I'm in the same race against time..)
  17. who wrote the Schindler's List Main Theme ?
  18. Thank you so much really. BUt I'm sure there are like a a ton of mistakes though
  19. it's sounds good, but it's definetly not Brazilian samba. It sounds Cuban.
  20. I loved this piece. But I just don't think it's playable! I don't think even Hamelin could pull this one off. Maybe you could arrange it for 2 pianos
  21. wow, thanx this was an awesome lesson
  22. wow... shear pianism, reminds me of Scriabin with a hint of Chopin and Debussy. AWESOME
  23. It's really good, maybe you want to add an accompaning piano (?) i think it's going to sound good in the slower passages.
  24. HI everyone, I'm new to the site, and I'm a little nervous to post my piece. I'm an amateur composer and pianist. Please, do comment on my piece if you want to, that is gonna help me a LOT to improve. This is a small piece I did in the Baroque style inspired by Scarlatti's virtuoso technique. I usually don't compose in the Baroque style but... this was just for fun... Thanks, :)
