Hehehehe... You got it

for some reason, I can't open any of the midi files.

it says invalid file type.

That's odd... Try these

Hello,

I'd like to help out by doing the Shop theme if that's not taken yet.

I was wondering if there is a deadline to this?

No deadline. I added you

I've been meaning to write a/some piano piece(s) this summer, so I signed myself up to do Sailing Ship. By the sounds of the MIDI, the original is rather uninspired, so I guess I'll just go with heaps of jazzy, added-note harmony like the official Final Fantasy Piano Collections.

P.S. Lovely idea!

Hey Anders - take me off the list. I've done a few solid hours work but I'm not happy with it and I'm really not confident enough in my piano pieces at the moment!

Good luck with the project though!

Yes, this idea is qutie good. But for a REAL challenge, we should try rearranging the entire Final Fantasy X-2 album for piano  .

P.S. I am having trouble making Floating Castle sound good on piano (it doesn't help that the original song isn't very good to begin with).

^ Dont even joke about that man, just the Piano Collections are difficult as hell! XD

:P Sorry, didn't mean to scare anyone. Though I really would like to hear someone attempt to rearrange Thunder Plateau for piano (just so we are clear, the FFX-2 version, not the FFX version). I actually would pay money to hear that.

Hmm.... So shall we do that one next? :P

Fox, I've taken you off the list...

Ahem... :)

Well, if we could rearrange any Final Fantasy album for piano only, I'd want to FFIX or FFVII. My personal favorite album Final Fantasy album is FFX, but to be honest. Songs like "Crisis" and "Temple Band" (as much as I hate that song) would be near impossible to recreate on piano.

That attitude will get you nowhere. :) I can certainly imagine Hamauzu's electro-acoustic masterpieces in Piano incarnations, although they would be quite different from their originals.

Well, if people are willing, I am too. It'd just be hard to rearrange the songs that focus mainly on percussion. But if Hamauzu could rearrange "People of the North Pole" into a beautiful piano piece, then I'm sure it could be done.

I can do the main theme...also I can request the permission to arrange from the publisher.

If I don't have time I will PM you Anders....but I am pretty sure I can do it.

Something serious has come up. If you don't here from me in within the week, take me off the list.

EDIT: I have one week of sustenance, I may yet get the arrangement in.

I've removed a few of the insignifficant pieces from the tracklist (like Save Music and Menu Screen) and changed my reservation from G. Volcano to Prelude.

These tracks are still up for grabs:

04) Main Theme

05) Garland's Temple

11) Gurgu Volcano

16) Dead Music

YES! I have finished! Just polishing..!

:) :) :D

If I can work one of those into my existing arrangement, then I will. I'll play around with 'em.

ANDERS?! You are still flipping awake? I'm contemplating taking another one.

:) Will you be sending it to me, soon?

You mean like a medley?
