I've been considering suggesting that we kick out the editors that haven't been doing anything after such and such period of inactivity, especially for newly appointed ones, but you'd honestly be about the last one to go. It's a wonder the wiki doesn't get much attention what with the dedication of the editors who are SUPPOSED to be responsible for it... Contribute, damn it. :)

I fully support that. And hey, if I do get kicked out, it would be because I deserve it. Good idea though.

Just because he is staff doesn't mean it doesn't have to follow the wiki rules.

I think the ruling was made a while back for Robin's profile.

Since it is entertaining and contains a link to his site with all the information anyone could ever want about him, he's allowed to keep it. There are several other profiles like that floating around. They don't exactly fit our guidelines but since the whole point of the profiles is self promotion and it promotes him adequately, he can keep it.

Hmm. I remember this issue from a while ago but I don't remember how to fix it. When I preview a section before editing it, my image shows up fine but when I update the home page, I get a broken link. Is this because the home page is on a different subdomain than the directory in which the images are stored or...?

Yes, choppy will have to upload the images you need to the domain himself.

I didn't remove it, I fixed it - I put it in the right format. However, chopin needs to upload it to the other part of the domain so it'll show up. The version you had before, Omar, had a caption, which took up a lot of room, and was a thumbnail, therefore having a frame, which is unnecessary here. A thumbnail ... is a thumbnail, so that's why it showed up for you when you put it there, but when I made it a not-thumbnail, it disappeared.

I had one there, and removed it.

There's an image coded in for the article of the month too-- it's just commented out.

I put them both back, but they need put in the right place - that's chopin's job. I told chopin to fix it... he said to upload the pictures. But they're already uploaded on the regular part of the wiki. He goes, "... weird." Pssst, choppy, just do the same thing you did last time, buddy. :thumbsup:
