Hardcore Music

This is among one of my many bands I am part of. We've played with legends of the hardcore scene like Norma Jean, FATA, One true thing (ok ok ok) , brown bike and the likes.

ENJOY!

way to 'acuse' me of writing 'generic' songs. :) i hear converge, dillinger, etid, poison the well, daughters, red chord..

doesn't mean i don't like it though, very good drumming in this one.

The difference is that we wrote this music at the time bands like Poison the Well, Red Chord, and FATA were on the rise, not afterwards. We were part of the movement, not after the movement. We played with FATA when they made Too Bad Your Beautiful. Notice, the moment is not the 1996 Small Brown Bike type bands or Black Flag. More of the new hardcore wave that took from Small Brown Bike style but mixed in black flag lyrical notions with the the new melodic notion.

Also, we sound better than you do.

Besides, I don't think I said your songs were generic. I believe I said it was typical of the style. I then later said all your songs sounded the same with no variation among schools. It was like listing to one giant song.

Side note, Ryan Primack is a good friend.

*snicker*

rrrrrrright..

*notices that this is labeled as "Classical: Baroque"*

Well, here's someone who doesn't have a lack of self-esteem. :whistling:

Lol yea :D

Self-esteem never a problem.

rrrrrrright..

If you got nothing to say, then say nothing.

I will never understand such music. Just an awful amount of screaming.

It's about the rhythm and the adrenaline. ;)

you certainly fit in well with the rest of the contrived hardcore-kids with that attitude.

it's obnoxious.

again, your music is okay, but like mine, it's nothing new.

I refer you to my second post once more. Now, if you can please also refer me to where I said that sounding like typical band in the genre is bad. Can you also please tell me where I even said what you were doing is nothing new (I think it was implied though.)

Once you are done with those petty little issues, you may comment on the music instead of being pissy about being told all your songs exactly the same. You may think that I mean you sound like everyone else. No you sound worst than everyone else. What I meant about your songs is that nothing made them different from each other. If you want more of an explanation then ask for it, if not stop posting in my thread or actually talk about the music. You mention it sounded like other bands, to me that's fairly good, because those bands rock.

There's nothing to understand about it. If you weren't blessed with a natural singing voice but are still determined to be a vocalist, scream your guts out. The instrumental work is just a bunch of ornamentation, but there's not really any substance that is being ornamented, which makes it somewhat humorous. But that's all the "hardcore" music, so iz all good. They usually do have some of the best drummers though, i'll give em that much =)

Well, not quite my cup of tea...I used to dig this music quite a lot until 4-5 years ago but lately due to extreme repetition of the same stuff, I drifted away.

About the song? It is ok, I liked the fact that you used choirs but apart from that it is something I`ve heard too many times. This to say though that, as long as you and you band like it, keep rockin and have fun which is the most important thing.

One thing: I don`t understand why you needed to mention in one (or more) of your posts that your friend is...and you played with this band and that band. Does that qualify anything?

It was a subtle way of noting that this band was formed nearly 5-7 years ago. We don't play much anymore, but when we did we weren't part of the those bands who basically copied everything done before.

(If you keep up with my musical exploration, you've noticed that a lot of music is different from one another. Unlike other people I change styles as often as I change girls. Refer to my mexican pop, to my reggaeton, to this and from my classical, modernish prior to my ban. These side projects are only side projects. Yet somehow I end up doing a better job than people who have these things as main projects. Why? I don't know, I kick to much donkey.)

Yea, I listened briefly to the other stuff that was in the profile but I thought it wasn`t yours. That is definetely good, to be versatile! Regarding this song, I didn`t enjoy it particularly...I will have a spin again to this track and the others.

Like It alot. Keep up the good work

firstly,

Why? I don't know, I kick to much donkey.)

lol.

Secondly, i've never really been into this sort of music, but i actually quite like this. Who knows, maybe you've converted me :P. I agree with khmer about the choirs.

Good stuff
