August 4, 200817 yr An airy tune that is right now in its most raw state. If I like it enough I might make this into a long song iN FL, but for right now it's a repeating (looping) song that might do well for a character theme. I made this in honor of my bird (who was amazing). It's like a breeze in a song. This feels like.. an island, yet like you're high up in a mountain, on an Island. Think Dragonroost Island from Zelda Windwaker. I have a MIDI and a MUS. I think the MUS sounds better. Again, this was done in less than an hour, because the song popped into my head, and I did not wish to lose it. D: I hope you like! Wing Over.MUS Wing Over.MID
August 10, 200817 yr Interesting Piece. A LOT of it sounds the same, perhaps you could add variations and more distribute the theme between the instruments (even more)
August 29, 200817 yr I really like this. The main melody sounds really nice. Perhaps switching the melody over to some of the other instruments may also be interesting. Maybe adding more variation to the existing theme that is going on? Besides that- its a really peaceful piece here.
August 30, 200817 yr It sound like awesome background music, but you have to complete the ending. But, if you leave it like that, its elevator music, and without a proper ending, its nothing.
August 31, 200817 yr Yeah, definitely the Dragon Roost Island thing is in there. I liked it. I have nothing to say, it's all good. Great Job.
August 31, 200817 yr Yeah, definitely the Dragon Roost Island thing is in there.I liked it. I have nothing to say, it's all good. Great Job. From Legend Of Zelda?
August 31, 200817 yr From Legend Of Zelda? Yeah, he said it above from Windwaker. Can you feel it? :)
October 9, 200916 yr I've always loved the theme from Dragon Roost. I also felt a little of the Kokiri village theme from Ocarina of time. I don't think it needs a better ending. It needs a better better transition to loop back to the beginning. Otherwise, a very fun little piece. Makes me want to break out Windwaker again .
October 9, 200916 yr This does sound an AWFUL lot like the Dragon Roost theme! That's a good thing! :) Very nice background music, and if music like this were put in an elevator, I'd use elevators more! xD
October 11, 200916 yr Sounds pretty good. A bit repetitive perhaps, but nice background music. The sort of thing I could happily wander around and buy potions to!
May 1, 201213 yr Author if you leave it like that, its elevator music, and without a proper ending, its nothing. I STRONGLY disagree with that statement, but you are entitled to your opinion. The reason there is no definite "end" is because the memories of that beloved pet live on forever, and that is represented by how the loop "never ends". =) Either way, there has been a new version uplaoded.
