5 compositions

www.myspace.com/arturassaskinas - There is 5 my compositions.

just so you know, that is a canon, and not a fugue.

I'd have to agree, it sounds like a canon and not a fugue.

I like you music, you have some great ideas but they lack variation, they sort of get a bit boring after a while.

I agree with the above posts. Listen to Qc, btw, he knows music. Your music is "nice", but rather bland, as in it really didn't do much for me. You have a fine grasp at composition in earlier styles, but like I said I just found it a bit boring. Sorry if I sound harsh.

all the voice entries are on "do".

there's no score to make further analysis possible, but it sure just sounds like canonic development to me.

Needs more score, indeed.

Dude, you are coming across as extremely pretentious. If I were you, I'd just listen to what these guys have to say, they know their stuff.

Do you hear anyone ho was composing like me? Hmmm... This is just little from my bio - "I couldn't tell that someone made rules for music, or just wrote them down on a piece of paper. Musical rules have been discovered, not created. Therefore, in my opinion, music academies shouldn't have been established, just so people could learn something that has already been learned. Every composer creates works by using his knowledge. J.S.Bach understood music in one way, and Mozzart in other way. All of the famous composers composed music, according to their own cognition, by rules they had in their minds. However, it doesn't mean that after their deaths, a bunch of music acadamies had to be built in order to follow their lifeworks. If a person is born to be a composer, he understands the wider horizon of music, and knows more that he would learn in a music acadamie. There, something that was created in the past is teached, but it's impossible to teach what will be created in the future." So, if you want that I compose "Fugue" in the "RULES", I can easy write it for 5 Voices. It's just simple maths for me.
In other words, "Ich hab' ein Vogel."

You don't seem to want criticism so why do you post in this forum? I mean... isn't that the point?

There are plenty of people who compose music very similar to yours. It's alright but it's hardly anything ground-breaking. Get over yourself.

I think this piece has some potential. With some contrasting episodes and new ideas, etc. I think it could be made great!

The first one that is, I didn't listen to the other four.
