My first non-incidental piece: <Climbing the Ladder>

My usual works have all been for games and the like, and this is pretty much my first non-incidental/mood-oriented, music-for-the-sake-of-music music. It was surprisingly fun to work on, as there was a lot more freedom since it's not mood-bounded. c: I was also trying out strange time signatures like 7/4 and 9/4 for fun, heheh.

Anyhow, here it is:

Haha, nice soundeffect at the beginning. I saw pollini walking the stage sitting down and hitting that first chord.

I think for a first "music for the sake of music" piece it's good. It missed a bit of meaning to me. I think the drive of the peice is good. Maybe try to make it more of a story next time. You might have done that and i missed the point, that's possible.
