Presto in G Minor

Featured Replies

A piece I had started a long time ago and decided to finish today.

It's supposed to be a presto movement from a piece I have yet to complete.

mp3

The score is immensely dirty due to playback reasons, so ignore the dirtyness. Since it's almost 5 AM, I am in no mood to touch it right now. :P

I haven't heard anything of yours that I don't like! This is no exception.

I like it. I don't have much to say other than that... liked the nocturne too.

Keep composing!

It is a very beautiful piece.

F*cking brilliant mate.

I am definitely going to have to get one of your cds whenever you start recording these piano pieces.

Really nice. Reminded me a bit of Beethoven's "Rage Over a Lost Penny." But clearly altogether different. Again, really nice work. Good to actually hear some nicely composed works in the piano section.

I don't think you can set different dynamics to different piano staffs in Finale unless you put them on seperate channels... I could be wrong though.

I put them in separate channels. The score is like that completely for playback reasons.

I love your work, and this is no exception.

(By the way, how IS a raven like a writing-desk?)

Yeah, that was fun. Thinking back on it, I envisioned a black and white silent movie where the bad guy ties the damsel in distress to the railroad tracks.

I really enjoy this piece, it sounds very professional, and runs together very smoothly. I could imagine myself listening to this on my ipod-which if you knew how small my ipod is, that's a huge compliment. ^.^

You did an expert job of reinstating the melody, and varying it quite imaginatively. :)

That's an interesting comparison, I thought the same thing as soon as I read that suggestion. It does have a very classical period feel to it.

You are a magnanimous composer!

Email me the printable version so I can start practising!

Great stuff! Miguel... Well done!

this is a classic

Thank you for this great listening, good job!

Well, besides it's written 2 centuries too late, is was good!

I have a minor issue with ms 13. You need some space tho get your theme for the Right hand to the left. Because evere phrase comes in measures of 2, this one measure 13 destroys that flow. I should remove the whole measure...

And you should write a shorter rest in your pickup measure :)

Otherwise, nice ancient piece!

Well done, in so many areas. Chock full of great lines. Bravo.
