Demo 2: Can't think of a name.

I think this one is a bit more "experimental". It's sort of a fusion of different genres... I started out wanting to write some kind of march but turned out with god-knows-what, it sounds way cooler than intended though.

OMG Max....I instantly thought of transformers. I hate that I wind up comparing your music to some movie, every single time. But, I guess it's a sign of greatness, if you music sounds like it came from a summer blockbuster. :) I don't know how I felt about the near-end, where there was just the drums with the orchestra hits. The orchestra was great, but the drums sounded clumsy.I almost lost the sense of the rhythm listening to just them. That's my only qualm with this. The beginning is amazing. It draws me in instantly, and keeps me engaged. I immediately started forming pictures in my head; of soldiers getting ready, grabbing their stuff, getting into their outfits, and then the 'slow-motion walk down the airstrip/landing pad' with their helmets in their hand, right before they board their airplanes' feel. :D Great work!

Remember what I told you about the violins around 00:42.

Thanks. Tweaked the violins a bit, but can't do much more. I'll check into the drum break...

Edit: Drum break fixed. This should teach me not to rush... The velocities were a bit screwed up.

I have an idea for a name- Cool piece by Max Castillo!

You amaze me... really.... awesome as always!!!!!!

Drums much better. Again, great job.

Awesomeness

Wow another great sounding track, well done! Reminded me of the Iron Man soundtrack. I don't rate Jablonsky because his stuff is so dull so I wouldn't say it sounds like that. Keep it up :-)

It's very Hollywood. Good job! :)

Sounds pretty cool Max! It does have some resemblance to Transformers and Iron man. I could possibly have used a bit more variation in the percussion part, but I think the fact that it's a shorter track remedies any real tedium that might come of it. Other than that, sounds great!

Max, I absolutely love your style and execution. I'm a sucker for epic blockbuster score stuff ("heavy metal" orchestra, as I call it ;P).

Great job!

Max

This fits right into the mainstream of Hollywood today and could easily fit into many different scenes.

Nicely done

Ron

"Gearing Up." How about that for a name. It makes me think of like slapping on meh armor or loading my guns or some kind of militaristic pre-battle scene.

Thanks, I'll use that name. :P
