Water 3

Featured Replies

Water 3 is the third and last in the Water trilogy...

Water is about bathtubwater

Water 2 is about Public swimming pool water

and Water 3 is about Seawater,

the instruments is not all classical.

There is "Synth Voice" and "Sea shore"

I think, however that the style of the music is symphonic.

Enjoy !

ermm...its good, but u need to fill it out more, its very sparse - makes for a very uneventful piece of music. also try to have less repitition with your pianos left hand (1.10) . try to give your music some more direction, it seems sort of "lost" to me. rambling. also youve a few bad clashes between notes in your harmony- notably around 4.35. im assuming it wasnt intentional because this doesnt strike me as that kind of piece. and maybe fix the drums toward the end. they make no sense at all.

"symphonic" wouldnt be the word id use to describe it to be totally honest, but not a bad attempt. btw a score of some kind would help people to give you critique.

Yes this is sparse, or compact though the composition is rather long;about 8 minutes.

I think the composition clearly at least fits to the ideal: "only as many notes as neccesary"

The question is whether there actually is too few notes.

The composition is clearly divided in sections.

I think it is a storytelling composition. I remember that I wanted different aspects of the Sea described in each section; Beaches, speedboats, the deep sea...

I personally like the last section. The one with the bassrhytm.

I have no problems with the drums at all. So I clearly don

Well, I have to agree with Sabian, it does get sorta lost, and doesn't really change, and then the end doesn't fit in too well.

The ideas are pretty nice tho, Kimo
