Hallo,

I am a composer who is eager to share my music with the world. I have works published and regularly performed in the Portsmouth area. I conduct a large choir and I am an organist at a lively and progressive church near Chichester. I am professionally qualified having a Masters Degree in composing and a L. R.A.M. diploma in conducting.

Hello, out there. My name is Daniel Lan and I'm 17 (going on 18) and I'm about to start college in 3 weeks. I'm sort of new to composing in the fact that I haven't been working at it for many years up to date. I play trumpet (9 years) and trombone (1 year), and I own an ocarina as well but I don't play anywhere near even the level of the middle school flute players in my district. I started arranging music for my chamber group 3 years ago, and "composing" just last year, after taking IB Music.

I had a pretty solid foundation in piano theory up until just before 20th century and jazz theory so I hope to start filling in that missing knowledge here.

Hi everybody! I'm Matt and im 18 going into my first year of college at Penn State University. Unlike a majority of people it seems, I'm not going to school for music, but rather engineering (I was "this" close to majoring in music). So, music is still a huge thing for me, I played clarinet for 8 years, and I've dabbled on the piano. My music theory is somewhat inadequate (I could hold a conversation in my high school band class, but thats about it), but I'm hoping or that to change. In my off time, I've been reading some music theory and composition books, and hopefully I can establish music writing as a legitimate hobby or maybe even make something out of it.

Wow that's a big decision if you are seriously going to be a musician.

I think for the music theory you wouldn't have problems I took 3 classes the first year.

I have been a trumperteer since forever.

I also sing and I am learning to play piano(second book).

I have performed everything from James Brown to Beethoven and Britten to Earth, Wind and Fire.

I am finally writing music and I want to be a part of this community.
