It's a Salute!

A random weird thing I wrote.

It's a Salute!

I don't really know if I have enough knowledge this genre of music to say anything important. But I like what you did. Cool melodies and fun to listen to.

Well it certainly is weird. Interesting use of the gunshot and telephone effects. First time ive actually heard them used in a composition.

Wow, really fun! I loved this! Your use of the sound effects are very cool! I genuinely think this could be a hit if you produced it better, and added little other details that hook the listener still further.

That flute just gets plain annoying though, and very quickly at that, especially when it starts taking center stage at 1:26ish. I think if you replaced it with a synthesizer, the effect would be much better, because it just sounds ridiculous at many parts! Like a stupid carnival or something :( Please switch that instrument!

All-in-all, though, I'm rating this 10/10 and favoriting it! Very nice job! :D

Haha thanks a lot.. it was supposed to (oddly enough) make fun of bruce springsteen (in a way by not actually sounding like him at all) lol. so the first half was the only part i actually tried for. the second half is pretty random and stupid because that's what i was trying for. But I do like the way the first half turned out and thanks for the comments :)

that was cool...

I have tried using the gunshot and telephone effects before and failed miserably

you did very well.
