How long have you been composing? (out of curiousity)

Well, I have been playing piano since I was 3 (by ear), and have always been involved with music

in schools or otherwise. I played violin for a few years as well. I became inspired to compose at the

age of 12. Of course my pieces were rough but looking back at them the ingredients for my

style was there. I continued with theory classes in Highschool, personal study while taking

more formal piano lessons and continues as a composition major in college. so I would say

I've been composing for about 12 years.

Sure does, it explains the utter goodness (that's not even a word) in the music. I am only 16 and started composing not that long ago, I play Violin too, but I'm much better with guitar (I've played that for almost a year) and this may sound like self infatuation, but I would say I'm upper intermediate level with it (lol said the virtuoso to his student)

I'll do that sometime, I'm working on my first big project right now, it's my Suite for Solo Guitar, I started it a few days ago, I already finished the Prelude, it's not very long, but the rest is where I plan to make it get good. I may ask you for some advice on certain things, but it's getting late where I am, I'll have to be off to bed soon.
