When She Died Rerec

A short musical piece for a sad cinematic scene, e.g. death of a girl

When She Died Rerec

Hey nice improvement! There were though a few bad changes of notes in my opinion, at 0:33, 0:41, and the very end (1:12). They all had in common the abruptness of changing the chords. Maybe you could wait in between these measures just a fraction of a second longer for the first sounds do die out, and the second to swell up. Just a hair though, it shouldnt disrupt the flow of the piece. In the end I felt the sound stopped a bit awkwardly. Maybe let it fade away to zero sound? Anyway, good job! I liked how you've added some more dynamics and adjusted the swell on the notes. It makes the piece come alive!

Much better! Maybe a breath mark just before the last chord?

hey guys, youre right, there are few bad changes, ill try to fix it, but at the moment im working on a new arrangement of one of my game themes :) so, is there a how to manage dynamics while using strings? because im not an orchestrator and not sure about how they have to sound!

Welcome to YC, MadMark!

Sounds pretty sad =(, in an intentional and good way though. Usually I'd suggest you have a melody overtop of what you have right now, but if it's underscore for a scene, that would be distracting.

For a scene, this works great. I'd challenge you to to think up some different sections, new colours, and potential melodies to make this more interesting to listen to as a piece rather than just a score.

Nice work, MadMark!
