Good Chinese Instruments VST?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has experience with a good VST with Chine Instruments? I am making some background/ambient music for a video that covers some chinese info, and was wondering if there is more than the instruments I have in EWQL ra now? Just to add some textures, etc :)

I hope someone can help me out!

Don't get RA - get SILK

They have the Rocktober fest now. So get RA, Silk and SD2, that will cover you

Ra and SD2 I already have them, with the complete composers collection. Ill have a look at silk then :)

Probably not worth mentioning if you have EWQL Silk, but there's a couple of good Kong Freebies here: http://www.chineekong.com/free.htm

Ofcourse it is always worth mentioning :) It sounds quite nice!

AsianDreamZ and MiniErhu are pretty good, and free.

For small and simple, try Kong Audio's VST plugins.

The Dizi is the traditional Chinese flute. It is believed to have been brought in from Tibet during the Han Dynasty and since then it has been used for over the past 2,000 years in China.
