Final Fantasy X - To Zanarkand

Featured Replies

An orchestrated piece based on a piano piece from the video game Final Fantasy X. This song is entirely responsible for getting me into the orchestra! If you haven't heard it please give it a listen.

Beautiful!

Really nice, I enjoyed it ;)

HOOOOLLLLLY CRAPPPP! I love this song! (And FFX!!!) I wish i had the score to it. I've learned it for piano, but I'd love to study the orchestral arrangement. Lol, i forgot YC had this section in the fora, I would've posted this months ago, lol. :phones: Truly, truly an amazing song. For anyone out there who likes this song and wants to learn how to play in on the piano, here's an arrangement of it that I found online. It's pretty decent, but feel free to improvise on it and such:

Here is a better arrangement of all of the Final Fantasy X pieces. I like some of them even better than To Zanarkand.

Same here MiggTorr, I would love to see the score for the orchestral version so I can study it. I have tried studying it just by listening but imo it isn't as effective ;)

it's been in my youtube favorites for a long time now ^_^. And I can tell you not many video's are. This is really a goosebumps experience over and over again.

I adore this piece :) :) I've never played the game, but one of my friends played the piece for me, and I fell in love with it!!

Currently playing this game :D

Great game. I have a soft spot for the piece as well, and I was lucky enough to hear it live with an orchestra on Friday. Nobuo Uematsu was even in attendance:

The elusive Uematsu, wearing his trusty camouflage bandanna and zōri, seamlessly blends with the Riverside Choral Society for a performance of One-Winged Angel.
