Broken Passage

Featured Replies

A short piece meant for a montage of action with no dialogue to move the story forward.

Broken Passage

I'm gonna have the violin replaced with a real one...

Thank you! Then I hope you like the ending as well :)

Neat piece, Bryla. I like the switch to guitar at 0:40. I think you could bring that flute out a bit more. It compliments the violin, but I can't hear it very well.

Nice loud, warm mix you got going on.

Mmm, harmonics. Good choice.

NIce track, Bryla! I was a little confused when you described it as a montage of action, I assumed it was music for an action sequence, but it fits really well with an emotional, nostalgic kind of montage.

Peace,

Hey John :)

Did I double post?

Thanks for your considerations on the flute. I however think it sticks out a bit too much :(

The words 'action' 'emotional' 'epic' aso unfortunately has gotten some sad narrowminded meanings (don't take this personal, John), but the word 'action' means much more than action. The director yells 'action' everytime he wants the actors (see the resemblance?) to .... act. What kind of emotions are not emotional?

Sorry bout this, I have my own problems with the world today :)

Thanks for listening and commenting!

Thomas

No worries, Bryla. All emotions are emotional and not all actions are epic chase scenes. Its true.

Good luck with your worldly problems =)

-John
