Hi all!

This work was done as part of my "quick write" challenge for myself, to compose often and in shorter time intervals to help eliminate the previously long time periods between composing works. I woke up one morning to some deeeeep thunder rumbles and the power flickering, combine that with a half note riff I worked up in the band room before I taught at school that day and PRESTO!! Instant "epic electronic hodepodge of stuff".

Let me know what you like and what I could do better--I'm not a mixer, these sounds are all done with the Sibelius sound library with minimal adjustments to anything........

This was really awesome. People have tried to make the half step interval work forever but you did it a great service here. It progressed in volume and texture changes, and also just the sounds you used were intense as well. Props for getting that done so quickly as well. My only criticism would be the buildup section; not that it takes too long but some of the energy is sucked out in favor of a more classical style progression. Which isn't bad, it was just a bit jarring to me the first time listening through. Really good work.

Hey thanks for taking a listen!

Listening back to what I've written, I can definitely hear where you're coming from with that section. That section was one of two main points where I got tripped up and couldn't quite figure out how to execute it how I heard it in my head. The other section was the "disintegration" back into dissonance after the "bass drop/epic" section in the middle.

If I could figure out how to smooth those out, this would definitely go on the list of one of the favorite works I've done!

You've given me a couple of comments, I think, I should return the favor and check out some of your stuff :)
