August 27, 20169 yr In this case, I wanted to use the litlle form of sonatina to non traditional harmonies. The result was a sonatina in canonic style.

Non-traditional harmonies and atonal pieces are some of my favorite to hear canonically because it's so much more open to move themes around, and this was no exception. This flowed really well and the tension built in a lot of places were thought out and strategic. Great piece.

September 1, 20169 yr Very nice as always. I've never seen clusters used canonically before. Having the imitation enter on an offbeat makes perfect sense, since it doesn't overload the down beats with notes. The ending was perfect.Â
