(Above is just a visualization image, not my game)

This is an accompanying tense music for a scene on my game where the player is investigating a mysterious town in the outlands where there have been reports of cult activities. This is track meant to be faded in and out at certain intervals only. It is a space filler.

Hi there;

This is pretty good as well. Maybe your cello (I think that's what it is) is a bit too present sometimes, in terms of both volume and frequency. I'd imagine a motif like that coming back in everybody so often to give the audience a sinking feeling rather than having it always be there. The chords got better as it hit its stride; there's a couple parts in the first chords where they seem to resolve unintentionally (I think to F#, for reference), and didn't match the atmosphere. Probably had to do with the fact that you had more moving lines near the beginning. Experiment with it a little bit.

Cheers!

When I saw that screenshot my first reaction was "we definitely have to work on a game together" hahaha.

Yeah man I really love the theme here. Good work.

That helps thanks

@LostSamurai you can find some music for your game on www.soundimage.org we will appreciate it if you can donate just a small amount :)

Hahaha I have no projects in development at the moment, of course the ideas are endlessly streaming.

Your theme sounds very creepy and it gives me that scary feeling like I'm playing Silent Hill.

Revision 2 of the track

First of all, I love the track name. Second, I couldn't tell if much had changed past the volume of everything. Were there melody changes? Just to see if it worked better, I played Silent Hill Shattered Memories as LostSamurai had pointed out with this track in headphones and I think it pretty much works.

The tubular bells maybe could have been spaced out a little more to be more motivic rather than an instance, you know?
