War of Rotterdam -- Uprising (Looping)

Featured Replies

This is a looping background music for a battle scene.

Here is the scene where the music is supposed to be played:

I appreciate any suggestions on how can I improve the track :)

This loops? It may be monotonous to do that. No cymbals, electronic accompaniment, or crescendo anywhere makes this kind of a flat piece about war, ironically. The beginning definitely is promising but the lack of contrast or ways out of "repeated time" makes it lose its jnitial edge.

Thanks for the review mat, I revised it with your suggestions. Looks like it's too quite for a war so I made it more intense. This is not the final version...

Added a bell effect. Adding electronic effects later when the game level is nearly complete so I can see which electronic effects fit. I guess drones and some metallic grinding stuff...

Yeah, Monarcheon nailed it I think. With a little more variety and intensity, which it seems you're going to add, this could be a much more exciting loop. Seems like in some places there is rubato on the 4th beat. It took me a minute to get used to that, but I can see how it adds a little extra heaviness to the down beat of the next measure, which I think I like.
