October 28, 20169 yr Compared to the Seventh and Eighth Insignias I tried to go for a more brighter feeling this time. Both @Luis Hernández and @Lilac Lucrezia were a huge inspiration when I recorded the piano. Yes, for the first time this is a live recording of my piano ability...which isn't that good but I try hahaha.
October 28, 20169 yr OK this is cool (form me). Some parts are a bit excessive as the synth cascade in 00:30... The entry of the percussion is nice. In general I like the tratment of the strings. And the ending is a bit shocking, so abrupt... Yes, the result is much brighter!
October 28, 20169 yr I agree that the percussion entrance was very nice. I would object to the occasional spot where your suspension did not resolve, making it seem like a weird inversion of a chord that doesn't exist. This boasts a much more adventurous feeling that I think is supported well by the instruments. I think you should perhaps practice endings a little bit more. They're so uncharacteristically abrupt and I think it's one of the most important parts of the piece! Good work on this.
October 29, 20169 yr Wow, your piano skills are really good! At least compared to mine, haha. Capturing audio recordings is definitely the hardest way to create a piece of music, I think. I liked the ending (last 30 seconds approximately) very much - it felt like a quite refreshing breeze to me.
