November 3, 20169 yr I'd like to go on with this, not sure... It has no clear melody, no clear rhythm, no conventional progression... Is it a bit impressionistic? Perhaps followed by a less turbulent section,...
November 3, 20169 yr As you mentioned it has no particular direction so as a viewer I am forced to imagine my own interpretation of an image or visual. To me, leaving it up to the listeners imagination is also a good thing. ReGard less this reinforces the fact that your ability with the piano is really good so with that thought alone, it isn't a bad piece and it sounds rather lovely. Me personally, I would love to hear the follow up as it reinforces the first 51 seconds with more of a romantic vibe than before because I can honestly hear this being played at a wedding.
November 4, 20169 yr I would clear up the polyrhythms a little bit and the modulation to the first D chord at the end was a bit awkard, but other than that, I think it's good to go on with.
